According to an article published in the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Sunday, February 15, the days of the sprawling suburban home may be numbered.  As the economy sours, people are still looking for cozy comfort.  However, two-story foyers, giant lots and 5,000 square feet of living space is becoming smaller on the list of “must-haves” for today’s families.  The trend is toward smaller homes, lower ceilings, smaller lots and more multi-functional spaces.  That doesn’t mean familes are giving up on all the extras, however.  Upgrades still abound, but are more affordable when put into a smaller space.  Check out the full article here:  http://www.twincities.com/ci_11713016?nclick_check=1

What do you think?  How much space do you currently have?  Do you feel it’s enough space for your family, too much or too little?
